5. Cleaning and care
5.3 Descaling
1.
If the appliance switches off, prior to the water reaching boiling point, it indicates
limescale.
NOTE:
If you use the appliance in areas with higher water hardness or
when using the appliance frequently, it is advised to descale the appliance
more frequently. Descale the appliance if you notice a higher concentration
of limescale at the bottom of the water tank (11), the spout (12) and/or
the water filter.
2.
Use descalers based on citric acid for water kettles. Seek consultation from
your retailer.
NOTE:
Do not pour descaler into enamelled sinks.

Prior to using the appliance again, place the filter (13) back in the filter holder
(14).
5.4 Storage and Transportation
1.
Clean the appliance as described in paragraph
5.1 Cleaning.
NOTE:
Always store the appliance in clean and dry conditions. Store the
appliance in a dry, clean place, inaccessible for children, preferable in its
original packaging.
2.
If you want to transport the appliance, ensure that there is no water in the
water tank (11) and the appliance is switched off and completely cooled down.
3.
Ensure that the appliance cannot fall down or tumble over during transport.
4.
Protect the appliance from impact and vibrations, especially when transporting
it in vehicles.
NOTE:
It is recommended to always transport the appliance in its original
packaging to protect it from damages.
