INFRARED MAIN BURNER IGNITION
(VI-4BI-IR model only)

• No flame deflectors or ceramic briquettes should be installed over the main

infrared burner.

• To light the infrared burner, push the knob in lightly and turn it counterclockwise.

• Be sure to slowly turn the regulator to the ignition point to allow enough gas to

flow into the burners for ignition. Please note that it may take some time for the gas

to spread evenly over all the small exit holes of the ceramic infrared burner.

• If the infrared burner does not ignite, turn the knob to the "OFF" position. Wait for

the gas to clear and try again.

• If the burner does not ignite after several attempts, please contact your dealer.
