IGNITION OF THE MAIN BURNER
• The grill may only be ignited when the lid is open.
• Before switching on the device for the first time, please read the instructions
carefully.
• To light a burner, push the knob in lightly and turn it counterclockwise.
• Be sure to slowly turn the regulator to the ignition point to allow enough gas to
flow into the burners for ignition. Turning the knob too fast can result in the burner
not collecting enough gas and making a roaring noise or not lighting at all.
• A long (pre-)ignition flame serves to reliably start the burners even under adverse
conditions. This goes out as soon as you stop holding the controller.
• After the ignition process, each burner should have an even, clear blue flame
pattern on the left and right.
• If the burner does not ignite, turn the knob to the "OFF" position. Wait for the gas to
clear and try again.
• If the burner does not ignite after several attempts, please contact your dealer.
• Please note that the grill may only be operated with a maximum of 50% power
when the hood is closed. This means that either all burners are at max. 50%
output or only two burners are switched on at 100% output. Tail and main burners
must not be operated at the same time.
