IMPORTANT NOTES
•
Before using the unit for the first time read
these instructions carefully.
•
Keep them during the whole operation period.
•
Before plugging the unit in make sure that the
operating voltage of the unit corresponds to
voltage of your mains. It is recommended to
use socket with secure grounding.
•
Do not immerse the electric parts of the unit
in water or other liquids.
•
Before plugging the unit in make sure that
all its parts are dry and there is no remaining
water on the bottom of the bowl.
•
Before plugging the unit in fill it with vegeta-
ble oil or fat. Fat or vegetable oil level must
be always between the minimum and maxi-
mum marks.
•
Before you start frying or cooking fondue,
make sure that there is enough vegetable oil,
fat or sauce inside the unit.
•
In deep fryer mode use only vegetable oil and
fat recommended for deep fryer. When add-
ing new portions of fat pieces, preliminary
melt the fat in a separate dish and put it into
the deep fryer before switching the unit on.
•
Do not overload the basket with food, as hot
oil or fat can spill out or the unit.
•
Keep unit away from children. Never leave
the operating unit unattended.
•
Do not move switched on unit.
•
Do not touch hot surfaces of the unit.
•
Do not close the upper lid ventilation grid.
•
After you finish using the unit, set the tem-
perature control to the “0” position, unplug it
and let it cool down completely.
•
Before you remove vegetable oil or sauces,
let the unit cool down completely.
•
Unplug the unit when you do not use it or
before cleaning.
•
When disconnecting the unit from the mains
do not pull the power cord. Do not leave the
power cord hanging.
•
Do not place the unit and power cord near
hot surfaces.
•
Use unit only for intended purposes.
•
For safety reasons do not use the unit if the
power cord or the power plug is damaged.
Apply to the authorized service center for
unit repair and replacement of the power
cord.
•
This unit is intended for household usage
only.
•
This unit is not intended for usage with exter-
nal timer or remote control systems.
Purpose
This unit is intended for operation in deep fryer
and fondue modes.
DEEP FRYER MODE
Before using the unit for the first time, thoroughly
wash the basket, the bowl, the upper lid in hot
water with soap, then rinse them with clean
water and dry.

Place the unit on a horizontal steady sur-
face and unwind the power cord completely.
Make sure that the power cord does not
touch hot surfaces.

Open the lid and take out the basket.
3.
Pour vegetable oil into the bowl; do not
exceed the maximum level (0.5 L). Fat or
vegetable oil level must be always between
the minimum and maximum marks.
4.
Set the temperature control to the “0” posi-
tion and plug unit in. Power indicator will light
up (red lamp).

Select the temperature necessary for fry-
ing your food. Thermostat indicator (green
lamp) will light up when the desired tempera-
ture level is reached. When the unit is operat-
ing, the green light will periodically light up
and go out in the process of maintaining the
desired temperature level.
6.
Attach the removable handle to the basket
and make sure that it is properly fixed.
