Washing the cappuccinator pipe
Make sure that there is enough water in the water
tank (11).
•
Before washing the cappuccinator pipe (15),
place a suitable cup under it.
•
Press the water/steam supply button (7)
(position
) and wait until the indicator (13)
lights up yellow, then switch the steam supply
on by setting the operating mode selection
knob (14) to the position « ».
•
Wait until some water pours from the cappuc-
cinator pipe (15), after that steam will go out
more intensively; switch the steam supply off
by setting the operating mode selection knob
(14) to the position « ».
•
Press the water/steam supply button (7) to
switch to the coffee making mode (position
, the button is released).
•
Switch the coffee maker off by pressing the
button (17), the indicators (12) and (13) will
go out.
MAKING ESPRESSO
Before making coffee it is recommended to
warm the coffee maker, the filter (6) and the fil-
ter holder (5). Preliminary warming is necessary
for making high-quality ready coffee. Preheat the
cups that you want to use as well as well; to do
this, place the them on the tray (8), while water
is heated in the boiler, the tray (8) heats up too,
thus warming the cups.
Preliminary warming
•
Make sure that the operation mode selection
knob (14) is set to the position « », and the
water/steam supply button (7) is not pressed
(is set to the position
).
•
Before the operation fill the water tank (11)
with water.
•
Hold the handle (10) and remove the water
tank (11).
•
Open the lid (9) of the water tank (11) and fill
the tank with cold water up to the «MAX» mark.
After that install the water tank (11) back to its
place and cover the tank (11) with the lid (9).
•
Insert the coffee filter (6) into the holder (5),
matching the ledge on the filter (6) with the
slot on the holder (5) and turn the filter (6)
clockwise/counterclockwise (pic. 1, 2).
•
Without adding coffee into the filter (6), attach
the filter holder (5) to the coffee maker boiler;
to do this, place the filter holder handle (3)
under the inscription «INSERT» on the coffee
maker body, insert the holder (5) into the boiler
and turn the filter holder handle (3) in the direc-
tion of the inscription «LOCK» (counterclock-
wise) as far as it will go (pic. 3, 4)
•
Place a suitable cup (with a capacity of no less
than 250 ml) on the tray grid (2).
•
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
Press the button (17) to switch the coffee
maker on, the indicator (12) will light up red.
Make sure that the water/steam supply button
(7) is not pressed (is set to the position
).
•
Set the operation mode selection knob (14) to
the position «
». Wait until water is delivered
from the outlet openings of the filter holder
(5) and then set the operation mode selection
knob (14) to the position « ».
•
After the indicator (13) lights up blue, switch
the water supply on again by setting the oper-
ation mode selection knob (14) to the posi-
tion «
», hot water will start pouring into
the cup. When the indicator (13) goes out,
set the operation mode selection knob (14) to
the position « ». Wait until water stops pour-
ing from the filter holder (5) outlet openings,
remove the cup from the tray (1) and pour the
water out of it. Remove the filter holder (5)
by turning the filter holder handle (3) in the
direction of the inscription «INSERT»; if there
is any water in the filter (6), lift the filter clamp
(4) and, holding the filter (6) with it, pour out
the water.
•
Preliminary warming is over.
Making coffee
•
Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (11).
•
Make sure that the operation mode selection
knob (14) is set to the position « », and the
water/steam supply button (7) is not pressed
(is set to the position
).
•
Put ground coffee in the filter (6) and slightly
tamp it with the back side of the measuring
spoon (18). Attach the filter holder (5) to the
coffee maker boiler; to do this, place the fil-
ter holder handle (3) under the inscription
«INSERT» on the coffee maker body, insert
the holder (5) into the boiler and turn the fil-
ter holder handle (3) in the direction of the
inscription «LOCK» (counterclockwise) as far
as it will go (pic. 3, 4)

Place a suitable cup on the tray grid (2).
•
Wait until the indicator (13) lights up blue, and
after that set the operation mode selection
