SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, please read the
instructions carefully and pay attention
to the illustrations.

•  Before plugging in, set the power switch

(10) according to the voltage of the mains.
After using of the unit at 110-120V always
set the switch (10) to the 220-240V posi-
tion, it will prevent the iron from malfunc-
tion in case of sudden plugging in of the
unit into the mains with insufficient volt-
age.

•  Do not plug in the unit in the sockets,

intended for electric razors (in long-dis-
tance trains).

•  Before plugging in the unit, unwind the

power cord completely.

•  Power cord is equipped with a euro plug;

insert it into the socket, with secure
grounding.

•

In order to avoid risk of fire do not use
adapters while connecting the appliance
to the outlet.

•  In order to avoid overloading of the power

network do not switch on several appli-
ances with high power consumption si-
multaneously.

•  Place the iron on a flat stable surface.
•  Always unplug the unit while filling the wa-

ter tank with water.

•  Pour out water only after usage of the

unit.

•  While operating the unit, provide that the

water tank lid is firmly closed.

•

Close supervision is necessary when
children or disabled persons are near the
unit.

•  Never leave the operating unit unattend-

ed.

•  Always unplug the unit if you do not use

it.

•

In order to avoid electric shock do not im-
merse the unit into water or other liquids

.

•  Do not fill the water tank with scented liq-

uids, vinegar, starch solution, descaling
reagents, chemical agents etc.

•  Avoid contact with hot surfaces or outgo-

ing steam of the iron in order to avoid get-
ting of burns.

•

Provide that the power cord does not
touch heated surfaces

.

•  To unplug the unit always take it by the

plug, do not pull by the power cord.

•  Before taking the unit away for keeping,

pour out the remaining water and let the
unit cool down.

•  Do not wind the cord over the unit until it

cools down completely

.

•  Pour out water only after you have un-

plugged the unit.

•  Do not use the unit if the plug or the pow-

er cord is damaged or if there are other
damages in the unit.

•

In order to avoid electric shock do not
repair the unit yourself. If there are some
damages in the unit apply to the author-
ized service center.

•  Travelling iron can help you quickly put

your things in order during journeys and
business trips, but it cannot replace a
usual iron.

IRONING WITHOUT AN IRONING
BOARD

During journeys an ironing board is not al-
ways handy; in such cases you can just put
a curled terry towel on a flat surface. Make
