• White Balance Control
This adjusts the relative amount of red, green and blue primary colours in the image so that the
neutral colours are reproduced correctly. The camera can be set to automatically adjust for the
type of light and compensate for its colour. Alternatively, the type of light source can be set
manually.
From the drop-down list, select the white balance setting suitable for the lighting used for your
camera. The available options are:

Automatic:
Automatic identification and compensation for the light source colour. This can be
used in most situations and is the recommended setting.

Fixed Indoor:
Fixed colour adjustment, ideal for a room with incandescent (a glow) lighting
and good for a normal colour temperature around 2600K.

Fixed Fluorescent
1:
Fixed colour adjustment; good for fluorescent lighting with a colour
temperature around 4000K.

Fixed Fluorescent
2:
Fixed colour adjustment; good for fluorescent lighting with a colour
temperature around 5000K.

Fixed Outdoor 1:
Fixed colour adjustment for sunny, with a colour temperature around
6500K.

Fixed Outdoor 2:
Fixed colour adjustment for cloudy, with a colour temperature around
7500K.
4) Day & Night
Select the day/night mode from among three modes.

Automatic:
Normally works in day mode. It switches automatically to night mode in a dark place.

Day:
Always works in day mode.

Night:
Always works in night mode.
