SYS UPGRADE
From time to time Vision UK will update the DVR Firmware to improve the system performance. To
update the firmware copy the new firmware file onto an SD card and insert it into the DVR and then
install it through the
SYS UPGRADE
menu.
Other Manage Tool options
The following options are accessed and configured using the r/c in the same way as described above
– if you wish to use these functions please contact Vision UK for more information
LOG MANAGE
This menu option assists us with troubleshooting problems with the DVR,
allowing us to identify when specific events that have occurred.
CFG MANAGE
Allows you to download or upload application specific configuration files.
PTZ MANAGE
This option allows us to set up PTZ Camera Control.
SERIAL MANAGE
This menu option allows us to set up serial communications with another
device.
DEFAULT MANAGE
This menu option resets the DVR to the original Factory default settings:
Warning deletes the current configuration settings
SNAPSHOT SET
This option allows you to setup a button to manually record a snapshot of
specific events
The Upgrade type box will be highlighted, press
the
ENTER
button on the r/c until the
APP
option
is highlighted.
Using the arrows on the r/c highlight the
UPGRADE
button and press the
ENTER
button.
The DVR will then upload the firmware, restart
and start running with the new Firmware.
