At the front-side of the TM-E module there are two rows of LEDs. The
following table shows you the usage of the LEDs and the according colors:

POWER
green
Power supply is active.
USER
green
blinks: The TM-E module is ready for
communication (ca. 20s after PowerOn)
red
blinks: IP address not valid (just exist)
red/green blinks alternating: The TM-E module is just
waiting for an IP address during boot-up.
The LED is also used with the Reset.

Serial
green
blinks: The TM-E module is communicating with
the PLC via MPI.
MDM
green
on: The modem of the TM-E module is physically
connected.
LINK
green
on: The TM-E module is physically connected to
Ethernet.
ACT
green
blinks: The TM-E module communicates via
Ethernet (activity).

on: The digital input of the TM-E module is "1".
