The pedestal may be dismantled for transportation and storage. Proceed as follows:
Apply the brakes

Fully depress the moving column

and engage the safety catch

Remove the payload.
Secure all trim weights

in the trim weight stowage

Release the skid clamp

Release the three rubber foot straps

Raise the struts

, then lift the complete column vertically off the skid.
Secure the struts with the Velcro strap

Remove the kick ring

Depress the locking plungers

and fold the skid legs

lock in the fully closed position.
WARNING! ALWAYS collapse the moving column

faces between shots with the full payload fitted, to prevent loss
of stability.
WARNING! Ensure that the payload is removed before dismantling the ped-
estal.
WARNING! The column will be unstable if stood on its base.
