notiCe
Preservation pot uses high temperatures for food preserving. Depending on the type and bottled material
there are processes of sterilization or pasteurisation. During sterilization material is heated to at least 100 °C.
Pasteurization has heating temperature of approx. 80 °C. For domestic use pasteurisation is sufficient.
For this purpose are necessary jars with screw caps or lids with rubber gaskets.
notiCe
Please, preserve only fresh food. Overriped fruits and vegetables are not suitable for preservation.
Use only clean jars! Before filling them with food, boil them preferably about 5-7 minutes.
Then all germs and bacteria are destroyed.
1) Put preserving grillie, grid ❽ into the preserving pot.
2) Put filled and tightly sealed jars upright on a grid ❽.
notiCe
The maximum of pasteurized / sterilized 1-liter jars (diameter 11.5 cm and height 13.2 cm) is 14 in two layers.
When using glasses with different volume, the number changes, for example 22 glasses with a volume
of 0.7 liters.
3) Pour enough water to preserving pot to ensure that the upper jars are standing in the water at least to 3/4.
Make sure the jars in the lower layer are tightly closed and water could not get them into them.
4) Close the preserving pot using lid.
