7.3.12 Enabling the wiper
7.3.12.1 Enable from the remote button
The wiper can be operated remotely using an NO
(normally open) dry contact. The command has a
range of about 200m (656ft) and can be achieved
with an unshielded cable with a 0.25mm² minimum
section (24 AWG).

Feed the control cables through the input device.
Pull out the J6 removable connector (WIPER_CMD)
from the CPU board and connect the cables.
Reinsert the wired terminal in the connector. Gather
the cables with a cable tie.
All signal cables must be grouped together
by means of a cable tie.

Before closing the housing, connect the
wiper wiring to the J3 and J8 connectors.
7.3.12.2 Enable from the keyboard
If the serial communication line is being used, the
wiper can be enabled from the keyboard (7.3.10
Serial line connection, page 29).
7.3.13 Enabling the washer (Washer)
Relays can be used for low working
voltages only (up to 30Vac or 60Vdc) and
with a maximum current of 1A. Use cables
with a section suitable for the load to be
controlled and use cables with a minimum
section of 0.25mm² (24 AWG) and maximum
section of 1.5mm² (16 AWG).
All signal cables must be grouped together
by means of a cable tie.
If the serial communication line is being used, the
washer can be enabled from the keyboard (7.3.10
Serial line connection, page 29).
Activation takes place via the closure of the dry
contact of a relay.
Relays do not have polarity and therefore both
terminals of the same relay can be swapped for
indifferently or continuous current voltages.
Feed the control cables through the input device.
Pull out the removable terminal (J11, CPU board).
Connect the control cables.
Reinsert the wired terminal in the connector. Gather
the cables with a cable tie.
