Removing the Backhoe from the Tractor

1.

Use the tractor to move the Backhoe to the exact desired storage location.

2.

Engage the parking brake, place the throttle in the low idle position, and exit the tractor.

3.

Ensure that the Swing lock pin is engaged.

4.

Remove flip-up pivoting latches, security lock pins, or R-shaped cotter pins from the Backhoe
connection pins.

5.

Use the hydraulic functions for the boom and stabilizers to move the Backhoe frame.
Raise the subframe slightly at the tractor's lower 3-point hitch connection points, and use
these hydraulic functions to relieve the link pins.

6.

Carefully remove all link pins.

7.

Carefully drive the tractor ahead (

approx. 5”)

to clear the Backhoe frame hooks from the

lower 3-point hitch connection points. Engage the parking brake. Fit all link pins back in the
backhoe frame and secure them.

I M P O R T A N T   N O T I CE :

Watch that hydraulic hoses to the backhoe are not kinked or pulled tight.

8.

Use the boom and stabilizers hydraulic functions to lower the backhoe frame to a 12-

14”

high wooden support.

9.

Engage the boom lock pin.

10.

Shut off the tractor.

11.

Unlock the fixing chains for the hydraulic gear pump assembly, disengage the snap-lock
coupling and remove the gear pump assembly from the PTO shaft.

12.

Use the chains to hang the gear pump assy on the adjustable upper brace.

NOTE:

Attach the pump assy, so it can never fall to the ground. Use a fastener to connect the

chain to the upper brace.
