Pilot Plus
Keypads
You can define up to 8 keypads in the system. To begin, access the Control
Keypads screen by selecting it from the menu bar or by double-clicking it in
the system summary. The Keypads Groups and Keypad/Monitors Partitions
menus are also referenced in this section.
The keypads are listed by number in the Keypad # column. The parameters
that can be set for each keypad are contained in the field columns, which are
described in the following table. A description of each field parameter is
displayed on the screen when the field is selected.
Field Description
Alarm Ack
Selecting Enabled or Disabled will enable or disable
the keypad’s ability to acknowledge an alarm.
Default Monitor
This setting defines the monitor that will automatically
be selected at the specified keypad when the system
is initially powered or rebooted. The default monitor
must be a monitor partitioned to the keypad currently
selected. See the Keypad/Monitor Partitions screen
description for more information.
