Charging the Handset Battery Pack
To charge the battery pack:
1.
Place the Handset into the Charging Unit.
2.
Make sure the CHARGE indicator illuminates.
If the CHARGE light doesn’t illuminate, check
to see that the AC Adapter is plugged in, and
that the Handset is making good contact with
the Charging Unit charging contacts.
Checking the Low Battery Indicator
When the Battery Pack in the Handset is low and
needs to be charged, the LOW message appears
on the display. See the table below for what
action to take when this occurs.
Cleaning Charging Unit Contacts
To maintain a good charge, it is important to
clean all charging contacts on the Handset, and
Charging Unit about once a month.
--> Use a pencil eraser or other contact cleaner.
Do not use any liquids or solvents.

When in standby mode …

The Handset will beep once every
3 seconds.
z
All keys and functions will be available.
z
The Handset will beep every 15 seconds for
3 minutes.
z
None of the keys will operate and you cannot
place or receive a call.
Action -->
Complete your call as quickly as
possible, or replace battery pack within 20
seconds to continue call.
Action -->
Replace the battery pack before
making a call.
