Using Wave Phone Features
Wave Phone User Guide
Page
The Page feature can operate in one of two ways: the Page button gives you access to the public
address system and all the phone speakers on your system, or pages only a specific zone (group)
of phones.
Making and receiving a SIP page
•
When you initiate a page from phone, a confirmation tone alerts you when the system is
ready to broadcast paging.
•
When you receive a page, an alert tone signals that page playback is about to begin.
•
When an SIP phone is receiving a page, incoming calls will not be audible until the page
is complete. The user may answer the incoming call and the page announcement will
cease.
•
When an SIP phone user initiates a page to a zone they are part of, that user will not hear
the page.
•
A SIP phone user can initiate a call while receiving a page announcement. The page
announcement will cease to that phone when the user places a call.
