Operation
•
Slide a micro SD card (not incl.) in the micro SD slot
[A]
, see the markings on the
housing for correct way. The recorder does not work without a card.
•
Switch the camera on by moving the on/off switch
[B]
to the on-position (up). Now,
hold the record/stop button
[I]
pressed until the power LED
[G]
turns on. Depending
on the position of the selection switch
[E]
, either the video recorder status LED
[H]
turns blue or the picture recorder status LED
[F]
turns red.
•
Switch the selection switch
[E]
to VIDEO (down) to record video.
•
Press the record/stop button
[I]
shortly to start recording. The video recorder
status LED
[H]
blinks.
•
Press the record/stop button
[I]
shortly again to stop recording. The video recorder
status LED
[H]
turns blue again.
Note:
Always stop the recording first before switching off the recorder or switching to
picture recording, otherwise the data of the last recording session is lost.
•
Switch the selection switch
[E]
to PHOTO (up) to record pictures.
•
Press the record/stop button
[I]
shortly to take a picture. The picture recorder
status LED
[F]
briefly turns off.
•
Press and hold the record/stop button
[I]
to start sound recording. The picture
recorder status LED
[F]
starts blinking. Press the record/stop button
[I]
again to
stop recording sound.
•
Data is recorded in AVI video format and JPG image format. Sound is recorded in WAV
format. Free conversion software is available on the internet.
•
To play back recorded files, set the on/off switch
[B]
to “off” and the selection switch
[E]
to “video”. Connect the included USB cable to the USB port
[J]
and the other end
to the USB port of a suitable computer. When connected, the recorder acts as a
removable disk; data can be copied, played back or deleted.
Note:
remember to stop the device the appropriate way before disconnecting from the
USB port.
•
To charge the internal battery of the recorder, connect it with a powered USB port
using the included USB cable.
