8 . 1 M aintenance
W hen used as directed in normal operation , VEGABAR 53 is
completely maintenance - free .
8 . 2 F ault recti fi cation
VEGABAR 53 o ff ers maximum reliability . N evertheless faults
can occur during operation . T hese may be caused by the
following , e . g .:

S ignal processing .
T he fi rst measures to be taken are to check the output signal
as well as evaluate failure messages via the indicating and
adjustment module PLICSCOM . T he procedure is described in
the following . F urther comprehensive diagnostics options can
be accessed via a laptop with the software PACT ware ™ and
the suitable DTM . I n many cases , the causes can be
determined in this way and faults can be recti fi ed .
