Solid shaft encoders are used with a coupling flange on the stator and an elastic coupling on the shaft, with thermal and galvanic
insulation.
When specifically requested by the customer, other types of encoders and/or feedback sensors can be fitted. Please check with
VASCAT for each specific case.
3.8.2
Provision for torque flange assembly
As an option, motors in the MAC-HS series can be adapted for the direct assembly of a torque flange or torque meter. The
assembly type is adapted according to each customer's specific requirements. The following figure shows one possible design:

3.8.3
Blocking device
As an option, MAC-HS series motors can be fitted with a rotor blocking device, which may be necessary for calibrating certain
torque sensors. The design of this device can be adapted to each customer's requirements. The following figure shows one
possible design:
