Injection mode parameter group:
Select one of the four available choices, to specify how the
sample loop is to be flushed:
None
,
Flush volume (µl), Flush time
or Partial loopfill
(if installed on the Varian ProStar 400
Autosampler)
.
None
: the injection is done manually.
Flush volume (30-999 µL): s
pecify the volume used to flush the
sample loop.
Flush time (1-999 s):
specify the time used to flush the sample.
Filling on a time basis may be used for large volumes (>500µL)
to shorten loopfill time.
Partial loopfill:
the injection volume will be the one specified in
the
Acquisition
sub-section of the method.
Options parameter group:
Select one of the three available choices :
Tray Cooling
(if
installed)
, Tray Cooling Automatic Stop
(if installed),
Needle
Wash.
Tray cooling:
check or uncheck the box to switch on (or off) the
sample tray cooling. Enter the temperature setpoint between 4 to
40°C.
Tray cooling automatic stop:
check the box to switch off the
sample tray cooling at the end of a sequence.
Needle wash:
check the box to flush the needle and connecting
tubing with the solvent from one of the wash vials, after every
samples.
Auxiliaries parameter group:
When the
Auxiliaries
box is checked, the external relays
(auxiliary events) are used. These events are turned On and Off
at the times entered in the corresponding fields. If it is not
checked, the On and Off
times are ignored.
