Before using the Manual Activation feature, make sure the battery
clamps are connected to the correct polarity battery terminals. To use
the Manual Activation feature, press and hold the “OUTPUT 12V”
button for three (3) seconds. A solid green "8" will indicate you have
successfully entered Manual Activation mode and are ready to jump
start your vehicle.

“OFF” BEFORE
DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY CLAMPS. THIS WILL ENSURE
YOUR SAFETY. REMEMBER BOTH THE SPARK PROOF, AND
REVERSE POLARITY PROTECTION FEATURES ARE DISABLED.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION?
For automatic transmissions only, make sure the vehicle is in the
neutral/park position.
MANUAL DISCONNECT SWITCH
(Truck option) Turn the manual disconnect switch “ON”. Location of
disconnect switch varies by truck manufacturer.
CLEAN TERMINALS?
Make sure that the terminals are free of plastic caps, paint, rust, dirt,
or grease that can hinder the connection.
JUMP START PORT?
Does your vehicle have a jump start port connection? If so, use the
starting port before attempting to connect directly to the batteries.
SHORTED BATTERY?
If the battery is sulfated, it will be shorted and will need to be replaced.
Sulfated batteries cannot be charged, or jump started.
