4.
Start the Vehicle
A. Ensure a proper connection. If properly connected, the unit
will display a green “8” on the LED. If it shows a solid red “E”
followed by a number, then there is an error that needs to be
addressed. Please see the “Troubleshooting Guide” and the
“Error Code Indicators Guide.”
B. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position and start the engine.
C. Do not crank dead vehicle for more than 15 seconds. Wait 90
seconds in between cranking attempts. Failure to do so will
cause damage to the starter and/or the Start•All Jump•Pack
®
.
Repeated attempts may lead to possible fire and property
damage. NOTE: It its possible for an E5 error code to be
displayed. Please refer to the Error code section of this manual
for more information on error codes.
D. If the engine still does not start, refer to the manual
Troubleshooting section “Can’t get Start•All Jump•Pack
®
to
connect.”
E.
Once started, turn off the unit and disconnect the clamps from
the battery and reattach the clamps to the docking station.
