Floor/Hearth
This appliance is approved for installation directly on
combustible material such as plywood and so on. Vinyl,
carpen, and soft
fl
ooring require sheet metal extending
the shole width and depth under the appliance. This
appliance does not require a hearth. Combustible
fl
ooring may extend up to the front of the unit.
Front Trims/Stove
Various fronts are available for the 530 engine. This
engine may be installed as a free standing, zero
clearance or insert application depending on which
style front trim is selected.
The front trim/stove style
a
ff
ects the framing cavity. A front trim kit is required
for all applications and should be on site when the
engine is installed
as the parts to make the engine
suitable for zero clearance are supplied with the front
trim kits (except 549 front).
Outdoor Conversion Kit
The 530 model is supplied standard for indoor
applications and may be adapted for installation in
speci
fi
c “outcoor” applications protected from weather
as de
fi
ned in the GV60CKO Outdoor Conversion Kit
manual.
