Listed Generic Adapter Box / 817VAK Adapter
1. Fit the adapter 817VAK over the appliance vent
collars pushing on
fi
rmly.
2. Fit and fully twist-lock the co-axial-to-co-linear
adapter box to the 817VAK adapter.
3. Keeping the 817VAK and co-linear adapter fully
twist-locked, rotate them so that the air inlet collar
on the co-linear adapter is at the bottom.
4. Drill through the 817VAK adapter outer tube and ap-
pliance outer collar for no. 6 screws.
Make sure the drill does not penetrate the inner tubes
.
5. Secure the 817VAK adapter to the appliance’s outer
collar with two no. 6 thread cutting screws supplied.
6. Continue with the installation as indicated in the co-
linear adapter’ installation guide.
