caused by incorrect installation or connections.
WarnInG! Before carrying out the following operations, make sure that the machi-
ne’s plug is disconnected from the mains.
The machine is supplied with some disassembled components and before using it, it
must be cleaned and installed.
When choosing where to put the machine, the following should be considered:
- that the planned position is not damp and is protected from the elements.
- that the area where it will be placed is completely flat, on a non-slip floor and with
appropriate load capacity.
- that there should be a large operational area around the machine free from obstacles.
- that the room should be attended and closed in order to prevent free access.
- that there is good lighting.
- that it needs to be positioned close to the general differential switch.
- that the room temperature should be between 10° and 35° C.
- that the work environment is not in an explosive atmosphere.
Remove the upper part of the packaging and visually check that the machine and its
components are perfectly intact. Then remove the packaging and proceed to carefully
clean the machine in order to remove any protective oils used for transport.
1) Get a bench (not provided) to rest the machine on and a series of nuts and bolts
(not provided) for fixing it to the bench.
2)
Complete remove the anti-tilt support (pos.28), position the machine and fix it
so that it is well secured using the holes present on the base (with hardware not
included). Make sure that the machine is strongly fixed to the bench.
3) Proceed to assemble the components as illustrated in the figure. If in any doubt,
please contact your retailer. Some components only need to be assembled if they
are required for the process that you wish to carry out.
4) Assemble the two side supports (pos.13), the piece-locking vice (pos.14), the dust/
chip bag (pos.30) and, only for saw bench use, the piece guide (pos.19).
5) Tighten the screw for fixing the rotary table (pos.11).
6) Fix the cutting head using the lever (pos.23) after removing the nut (used for tran-
sportation) screwed onto the machine.
7) Make sure the blade (pos. 6) is correctly positioned and can rotate freely (for as-
sembling instructions see following chapters).
8) Make sure that the lower blade’s guide (pos. 7) functions correctly in cutting off
mode: when lowering and lifting the cutting head the guard automatically uncovers or
encases the blade. In case of failure of the mechanism, do not start up the machine
but contact an authorised service centre.
9) Check that the upper blade guard (pos.15) stops in cutting off mode: Pulling it gently
upwards it should not lift. In case of failure of the mechanism, do not start up the
machine but contact an authorised service centre.
10) Remove the piece pusher (pos.32) from its support under the surface (pos.17)
and place it to the side of the machine.
11) Make sure that the removable guard is in place (pos.16). Without it, it is not possible
to move the machine into “saw bench” mode.
Make sure that all the parts have been properly and securely assembled and that the
machine is stable before starting it.
