also be called “tool”.

  WARNING!  Before using this electrical tool carefully read 

and observe the safety standards and operational instructions 

provided hereafter.  Make sure that you know how to stop 

the tool in the case of emergency before starting the job. The 

improper use of the polisher can cause serious injury.

  Carefully keep this instruction handbook in a safe and handy 

place so that you can consult it when need be.

  WARNING!  The polisher is suitable only for wooden, plastic 

and metal surfaces.  Any other use different to that indicated 

herewith could damage the tool and could be hazardous for 

the user.

GENERAL SAFETY STANDARDS

1)  It is prohibited for children and unskilled personnel to use the 

tool.

2)  Keep persons, animals and children away from your work place 

and do not allow them to stand near you while you are using the 

tool

3)  Do not start the tool in closed or poorly ventilated areas or in the 

presence of flammable and/or explosive liquids, powders, gasses 

or anything else of this kind

4)  Make sure that the polishing plate is not damaged before plugging 

the tool into the mains socket.

5)  Make sure that the object to be polished is firmly secured in place.  

Use both hands to guide the tool over the surface.

6)  Always wear suitable clothing when using the tool.  Wear also 

protection goggles, work gloves and protective face mask.

WARNING! Individual protective gear is essential to 

safeguard your own safety and health.   The failed observance 

of this standard may create serious problems with regard to 

your physical integrity.

7)  Keep the tool away from all parts of your body when it is running.

8)  Do not start the tool until it is in the operational position.

9)  Turn the motor off and unplug the tool from the mains socket when: 

you are not using it, you abandon it, you are checking it as it fails 

to work, the power supply cable is damaged, you take it from one 

work place to another.

10)  Do not carry the tool by holding it by its electrical cable but get 

hold of the main handle.

11)  When working with the tool always stand firmly and safely 

especially if you are working on steps or scaffolding.

12)  Keep the work area clean and free from obstacles at all times.

13)  When at work never get distracted from what you are doing.

14)  The operator is responsible for any damages possibly caused to 

third parties by the tool in the work area.

15)  Work only in well-lit areas.

16)  The polisher is not suitable to be used on damp surfaces.

17)  Make sure that the main ON/OFF switch is turned off before 

plugging the tool into the mains socket.

18)  Use the tool only in the manners described herewith.

19)  When you are not using the tool keep it in a dry place well away 

from children’s reach.

20)  Check the tightness of screws on a periodic basis.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY STANDARDS

1)  The power supply voltage must match that indicated on the 

technical data nameplate (230V

50Hz).  Do not exploit any other 

type of power supply.

2)  It is advisable to install a trip switch along the electrical power 

supply line. Consult a competent electrician

3)  Do not move over the power supply cable while the tool is running 

as it could be cut.  Make sure that you know where the cable is at 

all times.

4)  Do not use the tool in damp or wet areas.

5)  The power supply cable must be checked on a periodic basis and 

before each use of the tool to check if it is damaged or worn.  If it 

is seen to be in poor conditions do not use the tool but have the 

cable repaired by an authorised service centre.

6)  If you are using a cable-reel completely run out the whole cable 

otherwise it could heat up and take fire.

7)  If you are using an extension cable make sure that it is the
