System Power Supply
• Multiple Monitor Systems require an upgraded power supply. Please see below the recommended options
available from your local Valet Dealer.
• Each Monitor can use a separate single unit power pack or up to 8 monitors can be powered by a
multi-power supply to the Main monitor and then star wired to the other Monitors. Star wiring of a
multiple monitor system is the most effective method. A loop con
fi
guration is possible, but you need
to establish the formula of voltage drop as each monitor is looped ( effective transmission distance is
dramatically reduced in a loop con
fi
guration).
• Please see the recommended Valet Cable to ensure to optimise your cable network
• When
fi
tting Electronic Door Releases or Latches please ensure you chose a model with it own power
supply. Your Valet SmartCentre Intercom delivers the open / close signal only.
