Using the hotplates
There are two types of hotplates:
•
standard hotplates;
•
rapid hotplates (which can be identified by a red dot on the surface of the hot plate).
These hotplates are controlled by a 6-position knob.
When you move the control knob to one of these positions, the hotplate starts to operate.
Under each button you will see a small diagram that indicates the corresponding hotplate.
An indicator light on the control panel shows whether one of the hotplates is on.

Melt butter or other substances. Heat small quantities of liquids.

Heat larger quantities of liquids. Make creams and sauces

Defrost foods to cook.

Preparing fine meat and fish.
5
Roast meat and steak.
6
Boiling large quantities of liquids for cooking.
