Problems
Possible causes / Solutions
The washing time is
longer than indicated in
the manual. (*)
• The water pressure is low.
• The machine is waiting until it
senses an adequate amount of
water to avoid poor washing quality
due to a reduced quantity of water.
This is why the washing time is
longer.
• The voltage could be low.
• The washing time is extended to
avoid poor washing results when
the supply voltage is low.
• The water inlet temperature may
be low.
• The time needed to heat the water
is longer during the cold seasons.
The washing time may also be
extended to avoid poor washing
results.
• The number of rinses and/or the
amount of rinse water may have
increased.
• The machine increases the
amount of rinse water when a
thorough rinse is required and adds
an extra rinse stage if necessary.
• Too much foam may have formed
and the automatic foam absorption
system may have been activated
due to excessive use of detergent.
• Use the recommended quantity of
detergent.
The programme
duration is not counted.
(In models with
displays) (*)
• The timer may stop whilst the
water is being drained.
• The timer indicator does not
record any counting until the
machine has drained a sufficient
amount of water. The machine will
wait until there is sufficient water to
prevent poor washing results due to
a lack of water. The timer indicator
will resume the countdown once
this process is complete.
• The timer may stop during the
heating phase.
• The timer indicator does not
record any counting until the
machine has reached the selected
temperature.
• The timer may stop during the
spin phase.
• An automatic unbalanced load
detection system may activate due
to uneven distribution of laundry
inside the drum.
