Cleaning and care
The lifespan of the appliance will be extended and common
problems minimised if it is cleaned at regular intervals.
Cleaning the detergent drawer
• Clean the detergent drawer regularly (every 4-5 wash
cycles) as shown below, to prevent the build-up of powder
detergent over time.
•
Lift up the back of the U-bend to remove it as shown in the
diagram.
• If an abnormal amount of water and fabric softener
mixture begins to form in the fabric softener compartment,
the U-bend should be cleaned.
1. Press on the dotted marks above the U-bend in the fabric
softener compartment, then pull it towards you until the
compartment comes out of the machine.
2. Wash the detergent drawer and the U-bend with plenty
of warm water in a basin. To prevent residue from coming
into contact with your skin, clean it with a suitable brush,
wearing a pair of gloves.
