The calibration result becomes the baseline value.
Always check the actual feed rate on the field. If
necessary correct the pulses/kg. Example: If the
actual sown amount is 10% too low, increase the
pulses/kg by 10%. Note the set sown amount,
pulses/kg and the actual sown amount for future
use.
7.1.1
Seed output stops
If output is ongoing when calibration is selected,
output will be stopped. A pop-up window will
appear indicating this and confirmation will be
required in order to continue.

Fertiliser
The fertiliser volume is calibrated in the same way as for
the seed amount. See

BioDrill
BioDrill is calibrated in the same way as for the seed
amount. See

Radar
Figure 7.4
Fields on the screen:
A. Resets and starts the measurement.
B. Finishes the calibration sequence.
C. Shows the total number of radar pulses during
calibration.
D. Field to enter the distance driven when calibrating.
E. Shows calibration result as the number of radar
pulses/m. (The factory default setting is 99 pulses).
Calibrating the radar:
1. Measure an optional distance (at least 100 m).
2. Press ‘A’ at the starting point to begin the
measurement.
3. Press ‘B’ once the measured distance has been driven.
4. Press the ‘D’ field and enter the distance driven in
metres. Number of pulses per metre driven is
calculated and adjusted automatically in field ‘E’.
5. Press button ‘B’ to finish the measurement.
Alternatively, you can drive the measured
distance with the machine lowered to the drilling
position and stop the machine at the end point of
the distance. Specify the driven distance in field
‘D’ and press button ‘B’ to discontinue
measurement.
