Re-tightening of wheel nuts

Following 10–15 km of road transportation, retighten the
wheel nuts. Retighten the nuts in the same way after any
wheel changes. Tighten the nuts using a torque wrench.

Brakes

Adjustment of the brakes should be done while
the tractor hitched to the machine

9.11.1

General

If the brakes are not adjusted, the braking effect
will reduce over time, to the point where the
brakes will cease to function altogether.

It is vital that correct brake adjustment is verified when
the machine is new, and subsequently twice a year.

9.11.2

Hydraulic brakes

If, after adjustment, the brake lever (B) achieves
a vertical position, the brake shoes must be
replaced.
