Using for the first time
The appliance must be installed and connected to the electricity supply in accordance
with the separate installation instructions. Have a qualified fitter/electrician carry out the
necessary work.
The appliance was tested with water before being shipped. There may therefore
still be traces of water left in the appliance.
Transport lock
Before using the appliance for the first time, the transport lock must be removed (2
screws with washers at the back of the appliance, polystyrene ring in the drum), in
order to avoid damage to the appliance.
Setting the time and date
▸ Set the date and time in the user settings.
▸ Hold the
button depressed until the following
appears in the plain text display:

▸ Touch the
button repeatedly until «Set time and date?» appears in the plain text
display.
▸ Use the
button to make the desired settings.
To ensure the user settings are saved, the power supply to the appliance should
not be switched off for at least 30 minutes.
Running the first wash cycle without any washing
Run an empty wash cycle to remove any residues from the manufacturing process.
