Hygiene recommendation:
at least 60 °C programme
/
or select appliance
hygiene
It is common nowadays to select programmes with temperatures below 60° C in order
to save energy. These achieve perfectly good results with lightly soiled everyday wash-
ing. Washing almost exclusively with low temperatures will result in the formation of foul
smelling coatings in the appliance. To avoid this a «hygiene recommendation» appears
when it is recommended that one of the following steps be taken for hygiene reasons:
▸ With one of the next wash cycles carry out a wash with at least 60°C.
Or:
▸ Unload the washing.
▸ Touch the
1× button.
–
The «Appliance hygiene» programme starts.
