9 Trouble-shooting
Problem Possible cause Solution
The water flow from the cir-
culation nozzle is too low. ▪ The circulation nozzle is
clogged. ▸ Clean the circulation nozzle
(see page 8).
▪ The foreign body trap is
clogged. ▸ Clean the foreign body trap
(see page 35).
Laundry is still dry after
programme has finished –
no error message. ▪ The demo mode is
switched on. ▸ Switch the demo mode off

9.3 Unsatisfactory wash results
Result Possible cause Solution
White residue on washing ▪ Despite intensive rins-
ing, badly soluble com-
pounds in the detergent
(zeolites) can be left on
the washing. ▸ Shake out or brush the
wash items.
▸ Wash the items again with
just a little washing deter-
gent.
▸ Use a liquid detergent that
does not contain zeolites.
▸ Select fabric type «Black
garments» (see page 22).
Grey residue on washing ▪ Grease and dirt
particles have not been
removed from fabric ef-
fectively.
▪ Residue from detergent,
limescale and dirt.
▸ Use more detergent next
time.
▸ Use heavy-duty washing de-
tergent.
▸ Adjust amount of detergent
to water hardness and de-
gree of soiling of washing
(see page 19).
▪ Washing drum is over-
loaded. ▸ Put less laundry into the
washing drum (see page
18).
Washing feels hard ▪ Poor rinse effect
through very soft water
(below 15 °fH).
▸ Select the additional func-
tion.
Unsatisfactory wash result
using detergent for col-
oureds ▪ Washing detergent used
does not contain
bleach. ▸ Use washing detergent con-
taining bleach (see page
19).
▸ Fruit, coffee and tea stains
cannot be removed.
▪ Exceptionally heavily
soiled washing. ▸ Select stronger wash pro-
gramme, e.g. degree of soil-
ing «heavy» (see page 23).
