Fabric care symbols
To select the right drying programme, follow the fabric care symbols on garment labels.

General tips

Use tumble dryer sheets sparingly.
▪
Protect items of washing from getting damaged.
– Fasten duvet and pillow cases, hook and eye fasteners and zips.
– Fasten cloth belts and apron ties.
▪
Put only a few items of washing in the drum when drying fabrics that crease easily.
▪
For bulky items (e.g. sleeping bags, duvets, etc.) which fill the drum over half full, fol-
low the fabric care symbols on the labels of the items carefully.
▪
Woollen and silk fabrics often carry the «Do not tumble dry» label.
– For woollen and silk fabrics, follow the fabric care symbols on garment labels.
▪
For easy-care fabrics (e.g. shirts and cotton-mix fabrics), select the additional
easy
care function and put only a few items in the drum.
▪
Knitted and woven items (e.g. T-shirts) tend to shrink. Select the additional
easy
care function.
