Demo operating mode
To switch on/off, see section 4.6.
This operating mode is suitable for exhibiting. The compressor is not switched on so that the refrigerating
appliance does not refrigerate/freeze, preventing unnecessary power consumption. Operation, display,
illumination and alarm functions are active.
In the demo mode, the temperature displayed is not the ACTUAL value but the set value.
Demo mode cannot be reset by interrupting power supply or by using main
ON/OFF button.

Test operating mode
To switch on/off, see section 4.6.
Essentially for use in final production check.
Function check
1. All symbols and segments (for image, see section 0 on service mode) are displayed for about 5 secs.
(depending on model).

Test all buttons including door switch.
Whenever a button is pressed, an acoustic door alarm is emitted and the counter on the display is
increased. If no button is pressed within the next 20 minutes, the electronics set the operating mode to
OFF.

Test mode remains in this state until actual test procedure is started by pressing
special function
button. While

is displayed, a power failure may occur at any time. After a power failure, phase

continued. The maximum duration of

is 20 minutes. After 20 minutes in the switched-on mode, the
electronic control unit switches the operating mode from test mode to
OFF
mode.
