Indicates something to be noted by the user
Indicates important information
Indicates high voltage
Warnings advise the user to proceed with
extreme
care.
They alert users to situations wherein there is potential that they might perform an
action which could result in personal injury or damage to equipment.
Warnings contain an explanation of why the action is potentially dangerous.
Cautions advise the user to proceed with care.
They alert users to situations wherein there is potential that they might perform an
action which could result in an unexpected outcome or the loss of data which could
be permanent.
Cautions contain an explanation of why the action is potentially problematic.
