• Depending on the base location, there is any possiblity that the correct temperature and
humidity can't be displayed.
• Do not place any object around the base.
• The base should be placed on a location with proper ventilation.
• The location should be close to both a phone jack and a continuous power outlet (one
which is not connected to a switch).
• The base and handset should be kept away from sources of electrical noise such as motors,
microwave ovens, and fluorescent lighting.
• The base can be placed on a desk, tabletop, or mounted on a standard wall plate.
(Outdoor sensor)
The outdoor sensor senses the temperature and humidity and sends the received data to the
base.
If you have a thermometer shelter, set up the outdoor sensor in it. If not, follow the
guidelines below when choosing a location for the outdoor sensor:
• Avoid heat sources and direct sunlight.
• Set up the outdoor sensor at least 60 inches from the ground.
• Set up the outdoor sensor where it will receive proper ventilation.
("X" inches below, and "X" inches to each side.)
• Do not place the outdoor sensor where it will be exposed to rain or snow.
