C. Connect the Base, Set up the Outdoor sensor and Charge the Hand-
set
1) Connect the AC adapter to the
DC IN 9V
jack and to
standard 120V AC wall outlet.
The base can't receive the channel data from the
outdoor sensor only for the fixed time after connecting
the AC adapter. As soon as the AC adapter is connected,
the Alkaline batteries should be installed into the
outdoor sensor.
2) Take off the knob on the back of the outdoor sensor with a
screwdriver or a coin. Remove the cover.
•Connect the AC adapter
to a continuous power
supply.
•Place the base unit
close to the AC outlet
to avoid long
extension cords.
•Use only the supplied
AD-314 AC adapter.
Do not use any other
AC adapter.
