To make use of this feature, you must subscribe to a Caller ID
Service from your telephone service provider.

Caller ID Features
While in stand-by mode, pressing
set-up
will allow changes to be made in the
AutoTalk, Caller ID on Call Waiting, Hyphen Display and Name Tagging features.
These features are initially set to
ON
status on your DGAI980.

AutoTalk
allows you to answer the call simply by lifting the handset
from the base (without pressing
talk
).

Caller ID on Call Waiting (CIDCW)
enables your phone to
display the Caller ID of the incoming call while currently using the phone.

Hyphen
is an extra feature that enables number grouping of Caller ID
numbers for ease of reading.
•
Name Tagging
enables the phone to display the caller’s name
(as programmed in the memory), if the incoming Caller ID matches the
number of and existing Memory Dial Data.
This feature is currently not available in all areas of
Australia. Call your telephone service provider regarding
availability in your area.
