with a width of < 1 m.
Mounting fixtures and tips for rooms
with sloped / high ceilings
The rules for sloped ceilings with an incline of less than 20 °
are the same as those for horizontal ceilings (see picture G).
Please install the smoke alarm as indicated in igure B for
rooms with a ceiling incline of > 20 °.
The maximum installation height of the smoke alarms
should not exceed 3 m. The smoke alarms are installed at
multiple levels, if the installation height is more than 3 m.
In the case of rooms with sloping roofs and horizontal ceilings:
Expect to install it on the sloped ceiling, if the horizontal
section of the ceiling is smaller than 1 m. The alarm should
be installed in the middle of the horizontal ceiling, if the
horizontal section of the ceiling is more than 1 m.
Installing smoke alarms
Turn the housing to the left, to open and remove it from the
mounting bracket.
Keep the mounting plate

in the position that you want
to install the smoke alarm. Mark the holes with a pencil.
These markings are necessary for the mounting holes.
