Thread   the   black   or   gray   cover   and   tighten   with   the   face-‐hole   tool   until   the   cap   is   flush
with   the   top   of   the   sprinkler   drive   assembly.

Note:   The   grey   and   black   piston   drive   caps   are

not

   interchangeable   and   therefore   must   be

replaced   with   the   same   color   cap.

15.

Once   a   grey   color   cap   is   tightened,   re-‐install   the   Torx   or   Philips-‐head   fastener.      If   the
fastener   cannot   be   tightened   to   be   flush   with   the   top   of   cap,   then   it   is   contacting   one   of
the   molded   ribs   on   top   of   the   piston   drive.      Slightly   tighten   the   cap   with   the   face   hole
tool.      The   rib   locations   are   indicated   with   small   detents   molded   in   the   sprinkler   body   as
shown   is   Figure   20-‐1.

Place   the   sprinkler   cap   back   onto   the   drive   assembly   and   secure   with   the   2   (qty)   Allen-‐
head   fasteners.

17.

Operate   the   M-‐160   sprinkler   from   the   valve   manually   or   from   the   control   system   to
