Only the designated eyelets may be used as attachment points on
the basket stretcher. Recessed grips on the basket stretcher must never
be used for this purpose!
Only the central upper eyelet of the rigging plate may be used as an
anchor point (Fig. 6).
Make sure that the straps are not twisted. This changes the distribution
of force in the transport suspension and increases the wear of the
straps and seams.

Length adjustment of the straps and fi xation of the transport
suspension to adjust the inclination or height of the basket stretcher
4.3a Length adjustment of the straps
To avoid damage to the stretcher under load, the four straps must not be
less than 600 mm (head end) or 400 mm (foot end).
1. To change
the inclination or heigh
t of the transport
suspension, make sure that the overhead strap is used as
an
adjustment strap
and the middle one as a
fi xing strap
(Fig. 7).
To shorten:
Push the fi xing strap up with one hand and
at the same time pull the adjustment strap down with the
other hand until the desired length is reached, then release.
The adjustable buckle prevents further unintentional
adjustment (Fig. 7).
