On the three-motor controller, there is one screw terminal specifically for
Boost input. This feature allows for an override of the RecoupAerator’s
variable speed ability. Boost is useful for running at maximum air flow
(200CFM) using a low-voltage signal input such as the optional Boost Timer.
Typically, Boost inputs include bathroom timers, CO
2
monitors, and humidity
monitors. Note that all Switch relays must be capable of switching LOW
VOLTAGE (24vac).
High Voltage Contact switches will often fail used with
24VAC because of the lack of required high voltage arcing to keep them clean
and functional.
