MAINTENANCE
While any service of the instrument ought to be carried out by Ugo Basile personnel or by
qualified personnel authorized by UGO BASILE organization, this section of the instruc-
tion manuals describes normal maintenance procedures which can be carried out at your
facility.
7.1
Charging the Internal Battery
The GSM battery is charged automatically when external power is supplied to its minia-
ture USB ‘B’ socket, either from a PC or from a suitable USB power adapter.
The instrument is dispatched from the factory with a fully charged battery. However, it is
recommended that the battery is charged before initial use. See also paragraph 5.1-
Battery Low Warning.
7.2
Long Inactivity
The instrument does not require any particular maintenance after long inactivity.
