Tube Class A

Simulates a complete tube preamp. ‘Class-A’ means a single vacuum

Simulates a preamp with a pair of tubes in a ‘push-pull’ configuration,

Simulates a preamp with two class-A stages in series. Like simple class

A, this also creates odd and even harmonics, but the results are richer

Hard Clip

Simply chops the top and bottom off the waveform.
