5.
Center punch, then drill out the holes using a 7 mm
(9/32 in) drill bit.
6.
Repeat on the opposite side of the hopper.
7.
Attach the skirt rubbers and the skirt bars to both the
right and left side extensions, using 6.25 x 25 mm
(¼ x 1 in) stainless steel pan-head bolts, with 6.25 mm
(¼ in) stainless steel washers and nuts.
(Ensure that
the washers and nuts are mounted to the underside.)
8.
Torque the nuts and bolts to 55 in-lb.
Full engagement
of the nylon locking nut is all that is required.
9.
Install both the right and left side extensions to the
sides of the hopper, using 6.25 x 25 mm (¼ x 1 in)
stainless steel pan-head bolts. (Ensure that the washers
and nuts are mounted to the outside of the hopper; see
Figure 38).

Torque the nuts and bolts to 90 in-lb.
11.
Ensure that there is 15.6 mm (
⅝
in) clearance between
the belt and the bottom metal edge of the side
extensions (Figure 39).

Apply the supplied silicone (between the arrows; see
Figure 40) on both sides of the right and left side
extensions, to prevent contaminants from entering.

Measure the inside of the hopper and find the center.
14.
Place the center insert assembly onto the center of the
hopper. Using the center insert as a template, mark the
mounting holes, then drill them using a 7 mm
(9/32 in) drill bit.
15.
Install the center insert assembly using 6.25 x 25 mm
(¼ x 1 in) stainless steel pan-head bolts (Figure 41).
