TORQUE SETTINGS FOR FASTENERS
The Chart below lists the correct tightening torque for fasteners. The Chart should be
referred to when tightening or replacing bolts to determine the grade of bolt and the correct
torque except where specific torque values are assigned in the text of this manual.
Recommended torque is quoted in Foot-Pounds and Newton-Metres within this manual.
The equation for conversion is 1 Nm. = 0.7376 ft.lbs.
