Brake Fluid Level
Brake fluid level should not fall below the MIN level
mark on both front and rear brake fluid reservoir. If
the level drops below the limit, air can get into the
circuit and make the system ineffective.
Brake fluid must be topped up and changed at the
intervals specified in planned maintenance schedule
without fail for the proper working and to ensure the
safety of the rider.
• Switch OFF and place the vehicle upright on a flat
and firm surface using centre stand (if available)
or on a auxiliary stand
(paddock stand ref. page
.
• Keep the handle bar straight.
• Inspect the oil level of both front and rear brake
fluid reservoirs (ref. Fig. 50 & Fig. 51).
• If the level is lower than the MIN level mark in
any of the reservoir, contact TVS Motor Company
Authorised Main Dealer for topping up.
• If you find excessive play (sponginess) in the front
brake lever or in the rear brake pedal, but both the
brake pads are still in good condition, contact TVS
Motor Company Authorised Main Dealer for the
inspection of system and to do the air bleeding.
